Anatomia de Rhipsalis subgênero Erythrorhipsalis A. Berger (Rhipsalideae, Cactaceae)

O objetivo deste estudo foi a análise anatômica das espécies pertencentes a Erythrorhipsalis, visando identifi car caracteres diagnósticos, além de potenciais sinapomorfi as. Seis das nove espécies foram coletadas e processadas para o estudo anatômico. As espécies apresentam epiderme unisseriada ou multisseriada; estômatos paralelociticos; hipoderme colenquimática; abaixo desta, ocorre o parênquima clorofi liano; estruturas secretoras mucilaginosas, feixes vasculares e drusas estão presentes no córtex; o cilindro vascular é delimitado por uma camada contínua de esclerênquima externa ao floema primário colapsado; fl oema e xilema secundário estão presentes. Várias características mostraram-se informativas para a distinção das espécies, com potencial uso na filogenia do grupo. Destacam-se o formato das células epidérmicas, a presença e a disposição do esclerênquima no córtex e na medula, a presença de estruturas secretoras de mucilagem na medula e a disposição do parênquima não lignifi cado no xilema secundário.
