Abstract

Adiantopsis cheilanthoides Senna sp. nov., a new species from Brazil, Rio Grande do Sul, is described and illustrated. This species is closely related to the A. chlorophylla (Sw.) Fée. However, it is different in the size, up to 0,24 m high, rigid erect and forward curved pinnae, whole to lobulate segments separated along the rachiola, revolute margin, and with 1-3 sori
per segment.
